Education In Canada

If you are looking for quality education at a reasonable price, then Canada is the country for you. In Canada, you will get only the best in education at the most affordable prices you can ever imagine. The reason for this is that the government takes upon itself to assist people who want to improve themselves through learning. It does this by heavily subsidizing education costs.

Of course, where you choose to study and live will greatly determine how much you would have to spend on your education. On the average, however, the basic tuition fee for a Canadian school ranges from 1,537 GBP to 3,074 GBP. That amount can easily be doubled, or even tripled in other industrialized countries! As can be normally expected, you would need to set aside money for other expenses such as textbooks and other educational materials. You would need about 281.802 GBP for these.

Accommodations are easy to come by in Canada. Just like the cost of tuition, the cost of your residence should not be too high. You have a variety of options as to where you can stay. Many universities and colleges offer dormitories for their students. More often than not, the meals are included in the fees. You can also opt to find a home that will host you during your stay. Alternatively, you can find a flat or a boarding house outside of the campus. On the average, you can expect to pay about 358 GBP per month on your accommodations.

Emergencies are part of life, and to protect you financially in such occurrences, you should take out a medical insurance policy. In two places – Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan – medical insurance is extended for free to international students. Where you have to pay, however, you need only to spend about 153 GBP per term.

As for how you can get around, public transportation is not a problem. You have a choice between buses, trains, subways, and for longer trips, discount airfares. You can avail of a student bus pass for only about 26 GBP per month.

In Canada, quality education does not have to come expensively.
